Now that Spring is on the horizon and there are keen buyers looking for their new homes in Oxford, it is the time to turn your attention to presenting your property in the best possible light.

Keeping your house fresh, tidy and uncluttered will convey to a purchaser that you have cared and continue to care for your home.

Increase your kerb appeal by attending to the front of your property by mowing and weeding any lawn and flower beds and a colourful pot of bedding plants will always increase the attractiveness to viewers and anyone who passes by.

Take note of all those T.V. programmes who extol the virtues of selling a lifestyle. Look at your own property with a fresh pair of eyes and ask yourself what little touches could make your home more appealing when selling?

Try to be as accommodating as you can when a potential buyer asks to view. This will send out the message that you are keen to sell, as buyers are wary of those vendors who are just 'testing out' the market.

When receiving 'viewing feedback' from your Estate Agent take note of anything that can be rectified and action accordingly.

Notwithstanding Brexit, the Global Pandemic and now the tragic war in Ukraine, Oxford is still a draw for motivated purchasers who are looking for properties with easy access to excellent schools, hospitals, transport links to London and to Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted airports.

Now is the time to get ready and SPRING INTO ACTON!
