In the Community
New SearchOxford is an amazing city with a strong community spirit built around independent businesses. Most of the team at JCP have grown up in the local area and it is our aim to be part of that community and show our support wherever possible.
Not only have we supported the below events, we also buy our Christmas cards each year from Mind Charity and regularly raise money for Helen & Douglas House from within our offices.
Most recently we have sponsored the St Ebbe's Primary School fundraising tea towel. The children of St Ebbe's School have hand-drawn their self-portraits to be printed onto a wonderful keepsake tea towel for their parents and families to purchase at the school fete on 16th June. The tea towels will raise much needed funds for a range of projects to enrich each pupils' education.
JCP are delighted to support Oxfordshire Artweeks, which is a not-for-profit organisation that promotes the work of artists across Oxfordshire. It offers a rare opportunity to meet artists in their studios and discuss their work. Many of these studios will have a JCP ‘artist in residence’ board outside to help you easily locate where you want to go! Between 12th-20th May, artists in Oxford are opening their studios and creating pop-up exhibitions of the work – and it’s all free to view. It’s not just painting, there is also jewellery, ceramics, photography, textiles, printmaking… the list goes on.
JCP are proud to have sponsored Summertown Stars Summertown Stars A.F.C at their annual tournament from 2011 - 2016 providing signage, various pitch boards for the event as well as mugs to raise money for the teams. We continue to attend the event every year and wish each team the best of luck!
