As the pandemic progressed, a significant number of people living in big cities made a move to the countryside in order to have more space. As working from home became more commonplace, the demand for extra bedrooms and a garden arose. However, we predict that young professionals will return to City living to focus on their careers. 

Oxford will not have lost its appeal once the vaccine roll out has allowed life to return to normal. The appeal of the City will have been enhanced by months of restrictions. However, while many will still see the appeal of the City, others have reassessed their priorities and realised just how much more you can get for your money in the villages outside Oxford. 

In addition many companies, particularly small businesses may decide to keep some of their workforce at home or introduce flexible working, meaning that home offices will remain a desirable factor.
